WHAT IS T25?
Ahhhhhh, the program that started it all for me! T25 is a 10-week program that is broken down into 2 5-week cycles and is, GET THIS, only 25 minutes per day! In fact, the reason I started this program was strictly because I didn’t feel it would even be possible to make an excuse for skipping a 25 minute workout! People’s #1 reason for not working out is not having enough time, so this helps make fitness doable even on a busy schedule!
I was really struggling to find time for fitness and this was the program that jumpstarted my results and got me committed to changing my lifestyle. And, the best news, I haven’t looked back since! Daily fitness (well 6 days a week consistently) and awesome nutrition have stuck with me for over 2 years now, thanks to getting started with T25 back in March of 2014!
Don’t think you can get a good workout in in just 25 minutes?! Think again! These workouts are short and intense and while there is a little extra cool down time after the 25 minutes of heart pumping work, I’m telling you sneakers to shower we’re talking less that 30 minutes! You’ll work speed, you’ll work strength and power, you’ll work agility. There’s a little bit of everything and Shaun T keeps it mixed up so that you never got bored!
The program is designed with Friday being a double day but to be honest, I did one workout on Friday and one workout on Saturday because that worked best or my schedule. As long as I got in all 6 workouts, it was a win!
The Challenge Pack came with everything I needed to be successful:
- The DVD workouts
- A calendar (no more trying to figure out what workout to do today)
- A meal plan that was not overly complicated and had delicious recipes
- A resistance band for the Beta cycle
- A month’s supply of Shakeology
It was a serious recipe for success! I got me off my booty, working out daily, fueling my body properly, and some serious results (see below)!
